About the position

The Banquet Server at Hotel ZaZa is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during functions in the banquet department, ensuring adherence to the hotel's service and operational standards. This on-call position requires attention to guest needs, efficient service, and compliance with safety and liquor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain.
  • Efficiently and properly perform all Hotel ZaZa service standards.
  • Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
  • Report to Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of banquet equipment.
  • Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor and related supplies.
  • Familiarize with and adhere to all liquor laws.
  • Attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
  • Adhere to grooming guidelines, wear Z-Pin, and follow proper uniform standards.
  • Follow all proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Entry-level experience in food and beverage service.
