About the position
The Banquet Server at Maumee Bay Lodge is responsible for providing excellent customer service during various banquet events, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. This part-time role involves setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and assisting with event cleanup, catering to a variety of events such as corporate gatherings, weddings, and family reunions.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
- Greet guests as they enter an event
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with event cleanup and table bussing
Requirements
- Prior experience serving is preferred, but willing to train
- Ability to carry heavy trays and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and high-pressure environment
- Flexible availability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
