About the position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our festive team and train as the bar lead at LOULOU Rooftop-Restaurant & Lounge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bar lead, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. You will also be responsible for training staff and acting as a liaison between staff and management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
  • Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with food handling as needed, including serving appetizers or snacks to guests.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Participate in catering events as required, showcasing your bartending skills in various settings.
  • Stay updated on beverage trends and techniques, continuously improving your craft.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years Bartending experience.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with cash registers is essential.
  • Familiarity with fine dining service is a plus.
  • Strong math skills for accurate cash management and drink measurements.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments such as nightclubs or busy restaurants.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role.

  • Fine dining experience preferred.
