About the position

The Bar Manager at Telefèric Barcelona will oversee the operations of the bar in California, ensuring compliance with service standards and operational procedures. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, controlling expenses, and maximizing profits through effective scheduling and inventory management. The Bar Manager will also lead and develop the restaurant team while maintaining product quality and cleanliness in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures.
  • Supervise day-to-day activities.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
  • Focus on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.
  • Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Coach, lead and develop restaurant team.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to maintain adequate inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience in bar management or a similar role for more than 1 year.
