About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Bar Manager will play a crucial role in developing the bar menu, training staff, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote a cohesive team environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
  • Maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies and managing stock to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as liquor licensing laws.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance of the bar, including sales tracking and cost control measures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast paced high volume bar is crucial.
  • Strong background in bartending with knowledge of various beverages and cocktail creation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both staff and customers.
