About the position

The Barback position at our vibrant Italian restaurant is essential for supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in hospitality and are committed to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
• Provide support during busy shifts by bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or bottles.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work Friday and Saturday nights.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Benefits

• Pay of $10 an hour plus tips, which would be an additional ~$50-75 a shift.
