About the position
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will be responsible for a variety of styling techniques and treatments, utilizing your creativity and expertise to enhance each client's individual style. A strong focus on customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services according to client preferences.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as hair Braiding, Dreads locks, etc. to meet diverse client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to salon hygiene standards.
- Engage in upselling services to clients based on their individual needs.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including but not limited to Dreadlocks, Twists, Waves, Fades, etc.
- Strong understanding of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- A valid Barber license is preferred but not required.
