About the position
Voxx Coffee, a locally owned coffee house in Seattle since 2008, is excited to announce an opening for a part-time barista at our downtown location. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional coffee, partnering with Lighthouse Roasters, a local roaster established in 1995. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coffee and have the skills to create high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. The barista role will involve working three busy morning shifts per week, specifically on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with no weekend shifts required. Our baristas currently earn a minimum of $30 per hour, plus tips, with the potential for higher earnings based on performance and customer service skills. In addition to the downtown location, we will soon be hiring for our new South Lake Union location, which is set to open in mid-September. This will provide additional opportunities for part-time baristas, with both morning and afternoon shifts available. We are looking for experienced baristas who can demonstrate their expertise in making exceptional coffee beverages, particularly those who have experience working with manual machines and can pour latte art. Candidates should be prepared to showcase their skills during the interview process, as we value proficiency and artistry in coffee preparation. A friendly and professional demeanor is essential, as is the ability to thrive under pressure in a busy coffee shop environment.
