About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly chocolate lover to join our team as a Barista/Cashier/Customer Service representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure customer satisfaction will be key to your success in this position. You'll also be making craft hot chocolate drinks and some coffee drinks.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety standards, to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure the café area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or working in a cafe or foodservice is required.
