About the position

The Barista/Cashier position at Whip is a customer-focused role that involves preparing and serving coffee and food items while ensuring a high level of service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and desserts.
• Take and prepare customer orders accurately.
• Support cleaning and sanitizing tasks for front and back of house.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Measure and weigh ingredients for coffee and food preparation.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience required.
• Customer service and cashier experience required.
• Reliable and able to work weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with desserts and cakes preferred but not required.
• California Food Handler Card preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in guest services for at least 1 year.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
