We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Kitchen Prep for our specialty coffee shop in Buena Park, CA. Responsibilities

• Memorize, prepare and serve a variety of specialty drinks according to recipe and shop standards.
• Maintain extreme cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Engage in meaningful interactions with guests to get to know the community and regular customers.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is required.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers in a retail setting.
• Familiarity in handling kitchen utensils and preparing food with common knowledge is required.
