About the position

Peet's Coffee is seeking passionate Baristas who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality standards in coffee preparation. The role involves engaging with customers, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to a positive team environment. Baristas will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing a memorable experience for customers while adhering to Peet's values of Curiosity, Accountability, Mastery, and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers to the store and engages with them throughout their experience.
• Determines customer needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.
• Serves customers with a sense of urgency, demonstrating that they come first.
• Prepares drinks and brews coffee and tea with consistent quality.
• Participates in training to learn about new and promotional products.
• Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in becoming Barista certified by passing required trainings and certifications within 90 days of start date.
