Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Greet, thank, and deliver excellent guest service.
• Describe menu options and be knowledgeable about beverage products to make appropriate recommendations to guests.
• Handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience in a similar environment strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• The ability to clearly and effectively communicate.
• Basic math skills required for accurate money handling.
• Necessary State Food Handler's License(s).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a high-volume coffee shop or café setting.
• Knowledge of specialty coffee drinks and brewing methods.
