About the position

The Barista/Café Associate at Bloomingdale's is responsible for creating and selling beverages while providing exceptional customer service. This part-time role involves following Colada Shop standards, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through product knowledge and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Create and sell Colada Shop beverages following established standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment according to Health Department standards.
• Educate customers about food and beverage products and provide samples.
• Open and close the café area following appropriate checklists and verify completion with the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure product presentations meet company standards.

Requirements

• No education or experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
