About the position
As a Barista at Starbucks, you will create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers by providing excellent service and expertly crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to learn and master your food and beverage craft while connecting with customers and colleagues alike.
Responsibilities
- Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide a pleasant communication experience.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve store goals.
Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash and perform cash register duties.
