About the position

As a Barista at Starbucks, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. This role involves working in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, and connecting with customers and team members to make a positive impact every day. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean workspace, handling cash, and ensuring store safety while providing a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve store goals.
• Learn and master new beverage recipes and store procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
