About the position

As a barista at Starbucks, you will create a welcoming and engaging experience for customers by providing excellent service and expertly-crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer connection, and maintaining a positive store environment. You will have the opportunity to master your food and beverage craft while working alongside a diverse team, contributing to a culture of warmth and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide a great customer service experience.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Learn and adapt to new beverage recipes and store policies.

Requirements

• No previous experience required.
• Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
