About the position
As a barista at Starbucks, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. This role involves working in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, and connecting with customers and team members to make a positive impact every day. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring customer satisfaction while collaborating with your team.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
- Knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation is beneficial.
