About the position

As a Starbucks barista, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. This role involves working in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, and connecting with customers to make a positive impact every day. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and celebrates shared success, embodying the spirit of being a Starbucks partner.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Learn and adapt to new beverage recipes and store procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to follow instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus.
