About the position

As a Starbucks barista, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. This role involves working in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, and connecting with customers to make a positive impact every day. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and celebrates shared success, embodying the mission and values of Starbucks.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Learn and master new beverage recipes and product offerings.

Requirements

  • No previous experience required.
  • Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or food service industry.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environments.
