About the position
As a Barista at Starbucks, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. This role involves working in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, and connecting with customers and team members to make a positive impact every day. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring customer satisfaction while collaborating with your team.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Learn and master new beverage recipes and store procedures.
Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions.
