About the position
As a Barista at Starbucks, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience through excellent service and expertly-crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a passion for coffee, all within a vibrant store environment. You will engage with customers, prepare food and beverages, and maintain a clean workspace, contributing to the overall success of the store and the Starbucks community.
Responsibilities
- Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide a pleasant communication experience.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Handle cash and ensure store safety and security.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.
- Adapt to various tasks within the store during each shift.
Requirements
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a customer service role.
