The Barista position at 7 Brew involves creating a welcoming and energetic coffee experience for customers. Brewistas are responsible for taking orders, preparing drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and accurately input them into the point-of-sale system.
• Collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to customers.
• Prepare all drinks and premixes as per customer orders.
• Maintain a sense of urgency and productivity throughout the shift, even during slow periods.
• Make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions and positive body language.
• Know the menu and drink customization options thoroughly to assist customers in making their selections.
• Dress appropriately for the assigned position and maintain a professional appearance.
• Familiarize oneself with shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores.
• Always clock in and be ready to work at the assigned position when the shift begins.
• Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with customers.
• Capability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
• Ability to work outside for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb a ladder and use a step ladder as needed.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand.
• Ability to safely walk in between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
