Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, creating an environment where the customer comes first.
• Prepare and serve brewed and espresso coffee drinks, teas, juices, and smoothies.
• Maintain a high level of product quality by adhering to all New Morning recipes and drink quality standards.
• Keep work area clean at all times, ensuring a sanitary and orderly work environment for drink preparation.
• Operate daily sales and cash register operations.
• Work with team members to keep the entire cafe operation running smoothly.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of New Morning Market products and suggestively sell when appropriate.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and think quickly on your feet.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Attention to detail and high standards of excellence.
• Outgoing and engaging personality with the ability to create excitement around products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including working nights and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience as a Barista is preferred.
