About the position
The Bartender at Tortoise Rock Casino is responsible for mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons in a friendly and efficient manner. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service and adherence to health and safety standards while ensuring a pleasant experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons.
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests and employees.
- Take orders from customers or Beverage Server.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks using standard recipes.
- Serve wine and draught or bottled beer.
- Collect money for drinks served and give proper change.
- Enter items in the point of sale system.
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions.
- Order or requisition liquors and supplies.
- Stock and rotate bar with liquors, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and other items needed for service.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make an attractive display.
- Slice fruit for garnishing drinks using proper knife handling skills.
- Replenish bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts.
- Request identification from customers when legal age is questioned.
- Replenish beverages as requested and check back with guests for satisfaction.
- Perform side work as directed by management.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products.
Requirements
