About the position
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and menu changes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bartending role within a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash management.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
