About the position

The Bartender Apprentice at Caesars Entertainment is responsible for all aspects of bar service, including drink preparation, customer service, and inventory management. This entry-level position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ordered drinks with proper portions and ingredients.
• Mixes drinks according to prescribed recipes and keeps the station stocked.
• Accounts for all cash register transactions and provides correct change.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning spills and ensuring proper stock levels.
• Logs stock used during the shift and performs inventory checks at the beginning of the shift.
• Serves cocktail orders and accepts payment as required.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety standards.
• Treats customers with courtesy and respect, remaining attentive to their needs.

Requirements

• 1 year prior bartending experience required.
• Completion of a union apprenticeship program and possession of a union Pour Card.
• Knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes is essential.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to accurately count money and provide change.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are necessary.

• Completion of specialized bartending school preferred.
