As a Bartender at Casa Marina Resort, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability for the hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve beverages and food to guests, adhering to the highest standards of quality and service. You will greet guests warmly and respond to their inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Mixing and garnishing beverages according to established recipes and portion control standards will be a key part of your daily tasks. You will also be responsible for presenting and serving beverages to guests, ensuring that all service complies with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages. In addition to beverage preparation, you will accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests using the point-of-sale system. This includes handling cash, processing credit and debit card transactions, making change, and managing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers. Maintaining the bar's stock is essential, which involves ensuring that beer, wine, spirits, and other necessary supplies such as paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce are well-stocked and organized. You will also be responsible for cutting, storing, and ensuring the quality of all beverage-related perishables. Responding professionally to inebriated guests is an important aspect of the role, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
