About the position

The Bartender at Mist Lounge is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages to guests while ensuring compliance with beverage department standards. This full-time position requires a commitment to superior guest service and adherence to cash handling policies, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to established recipes.
• Ensure compliance with MAST and guest service standards when serving guests.
• Accurately ring up transactions on the cash register and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Maintain necessary pars and monitor product quality while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
• Provide superior guest service by recommending drink selections and informing guests of specials and product knowledge.
• Utilize MAST training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol-related concerns and over-service.
• Set up and close workstations in compliance with established procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or recognized equivalent.
• One year of guest service experience.
• Six months of bartending experience or completion of an accredited bartending school, or completion of a three-month internal fast track program.

Nice-to-haves

• Above average knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.

Benefits
