About the position
The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa is seeking a seasonal Bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating cocktails while providing exceptional customer service. This part-time position requires a strong knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits, as well as adherence to health and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will contribute positively to the work environment and engage with guests effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and patrons.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Know all menu ingredients, including daily specials and drink specials.
- Execute beverage recipes accurately and efficiently.
- Keep beverages stocked and alert management to shortages.
- Update 86'd items and shortage lists as necessary.
- Use the MICROS computer system for order processing.
- Communicate any guest complaints to management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of service experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of bartender-specific experience required.
- Strong technical knowledge of wines, beers, spirits, and cocktail recipes.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Riverside County Food Handlers Card.
- ABC/RBS Certified or must complete training within 1 week of hire.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a high-volume bar environment.
- Fluency in additional languages.
