About the position
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at 404 East College Street, Iowa City, IA 52240. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, from nightclubs to restaurants, and possess excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers based on their preferences while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will also be required to check customers' identification to confirm their legal drinking age and handle cash and credit transactions using POS systems like Aloha POS. Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner is essential, as is the ability to upsell additional beverages or menu items. Collaboration with the kitchen staff is necessary to ensure timely drink service, and adherence to all food safety regulations and guidelines is a must.
