Bartender/Server

About the position

As a Bartender/Server at Tap Yard LLC, you will be an essential part of the taproom team, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service to guests. Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and engage with them to enhance their experience.
• Provide detailed information about drinks, including craft beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
• Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pour and serve beverages according to company standards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all products.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and specials.
• Keep the taproom area clean, including tables, bar, and restrooms.
• Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback for improvement.
• Help organize and promote taproom events and special promotions.
• Engage with customers to encourage participation in events and tastings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications (e.g., TIPS or bartending license).
