About the position
As a Bartender/Server at Kaffeology Cafe, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking customer orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, particularly in relation to food safety and alcohol service. Checking customer identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase is also a key responsibility, as is handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. In addition to beverage preparation, you will monitor customer behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons. Collaboration with other staff members is essential to ensure efficient service and a seamless experience for our guests. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, as you will be engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any complaints that may arise. Your ability to upsell drink options and promote specials will also contribute to the overall success of the cafe.
