About the position
The Bartender/Server position at Redstone American Grill in Plymouth Meeting, PA, is designed for experienced individuals who excel in hospitality and customer service. Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the Guest experience and anticipate the Guest's needs and wants
- Accurately take, enter, and deliver the Guest's order as they requested
- Suggestively sell food and beverage offerings that would enhance the Guest's experience
- Properly handle cash and credit card transactions
- Be the final quality check on food and drinks prior to arriving to the Guest
- Maintain table cleanliness throughout the Guest's experience
- Serve alcohol responsibly by carding correctly and recognizing symptoms of intoxication
- Handle multiple tasks and recognize when assistance is needed
Requirements
- Minimum of two years bar experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant
- Basic wine and food preparation knowledge
- Strong communication skills
- Outgoing personality
- Ability to work in a high-volume setting
- Sense of urgency
Nice-to-haves
- Valid Food Handler Certification
- Experience in wine knowledge
