About the position

The Bartender at The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services within the Food & Beverage team. This part-time position involves crafting cocktails, serving food, and ensuring a memorable experience for guests while maintaining the bar's organization and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service through genuine engagement and thoughtful attentiveness to guests.
• Prepare beverage orders, generate checks, and handle payments efficiently.
• Maintain daily organization of the bar, ensuring all products are stocked and accessible.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Reduce spoilage and waste through efficient productivity methods.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all refrigeration, storage, and work areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-year Bartender experience in a similar role, size of operation required, hotel experience preferred.
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Completion of Bartending School or Bartending & Mixology Certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the hospitality industry or related field preferred.
