About the position
As a Bartender at AMC, you'll be part of the action, making sure our guests enjoy every sip of their movie experience. We provide all the training you need to shake, stir, and pour like a pro—all while having a great time on the job. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests with a smile, serving drinks, learning the basics of bartending, suggesting featured beverages, checking IDs, maintaining a clean bar area, and working as part of a team to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the bar, setting up, and putting things back in order.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a smile and serve drinks to enhance their movie experience.
- Learn the basics of bartending with provided training.
- Suggest featured and premium beverages to guests.
- Check IDs to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
- Keep the bar area clean and stocked for guests.
- Open the bar at the start of the day and close it down at night.
- Work as part of a team to support fellow bartenders.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to complete required training and certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Bartender experience is appreciated but not required.
- A love for movies and a desire to enhance guest experiences.
