About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at Blue Foods Group. This part-time position involves bartending during Saturday and Sunday brunch, as well as some evening shifts. The ideal candidate is passionate about service, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating a positive experience for guests. The role requires a blend of bartending and serving skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages.
• Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section.
• Run food whenever needed to both your tables and your teammates.
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner.
• Provide a positive can-do attitude.
• Greet and seat customers with a positive presence.
• Accurately take and ring guests' orders.
• Deliver food responsibly and ensure proper alcohol service.
• Bus, clean, and reset tables.
• Answer phone calls and place to-go orders.
• Perform prep or side work as needed.
• Prepare bills and process payments accurately.
• Conduct cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, and sweeping floors.
• Reconcile daily cash transactions.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a server and bartender is required.
• Ability to memorize all the ingredients in both the menu and weekly specials.
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to guest needs.
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Must work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Furnish MAST & Food Handlers card upon hire.
• Must be able to stay composed under pressure.
