About the position

Blood Bros. BBQ in Bellaire, TX is seeking a bartender to join our dynamic team. The role involves preparing and serving beverages, interacting with customers, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, reliable, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus

Benefits

• Compensation of $10.00 - $17.00/hour
• Flexible shifts available except Mondays and Tuesdays
