About the position

As a Bartender at Sazon, a family-owned Latin restaurant, you will be part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing an authentic dining experience. Your role will involve crafting traditional and signature cocktails, engaging warmly with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a selection of traditional and signature Latin cocktails using quality ingredients.
• Engage with guests in a personable manner, making drink recommendations and answering questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable bar area while upholding health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, including reordering supplies and communicating low stock to management.
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring a warm and attentive experience for every guest.
• Support team efforts during busy shifts and ensure all areas of the restaurant reflect family pride.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of bartending experience preferred, ideally in a family-owned or small restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of Latin spirits and traditional cocktails is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude to make guests feel welcome and cared for.
• Ability to manage multiple orders calmly and keep the bar area clean and stocked during shifts.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with Latin American culinary traditions and flavors.
• Prior experience in a small or family-owned restaurant environment.
