About the position

As a Bartender at Swedish Hill Westlake, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and hospitality to guests. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest and be aware of tone and body language at all times
• Input drink orders into the POS system immediately after the drink has been made, collecting payment from guests for drinks served
• Responsibly serve alcohol and have awareness of guests' state of intoxication
• Anticipate guests' needs and acknowledge guests so they know you will be right with them
• Complete all side work as assigned
• Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of the guest
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-year of bartending experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Excellent customer service and people skills required
• Active TABC and ServSafe certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
