About the position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting and possess a strong understanding of beverage preparation and customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and cash register functions.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, providing beverage service to guests.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage customers positively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages legally.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
