The Bartender position at The Stand Restaurants involves creating a welcoming bar environment, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Stand is a growing fast-casual dining restaurant chain known for its high-quality American food, and the bartender will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest by greeting and creating an engaging experience.
• Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist Guests and Team Members.
• Enter and charge all bar orders through POS.
• Promote our Stand App.
• Prepare beverages for the bar and dining room.
• Present food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
• Manage bar inventory.
• Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions about the menus, and make suggestions to enhance the guest's dining experience.
• Check guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Wash and sterilize glassware and prepare garnishes for drinks.
• Follow all cash management and cash register policies, ensuring proper cash management practices are followed.
• Prepare cocktail items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the bar area by practicing good safety and sanitation.

Requirements

• Must be of minimum age to serve alcoholic beverages (or higher, per applicable law).
• One year of previous bartending experience.
• Ability to create a fun and welcoming environment at the bar.
• Positive, outgoing attitude with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Passion for great food, drinks, and customer service.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
