About the position

The Bartender position at St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional service in a high-profile service environment. Bartenders are expected to maintain high service standards, work effectively under pressure, and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for members and guests. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work with minimal supervision while interacting positively with club members.

Responsibilities

• Arrive well-groomed and on-time, dressed in the appropriate uniform.
• Quickly make drinks for members and serve food.
• Set up for events, carry trays, and clean up after events.
• Keep the bar stocked and clean while providing friendly service.
• Review and set up sections/events to meet club standards.
• Possess complete knowledge of the menus and answer questions from members/guests.
• Present, open, and serve bottles of wine professionally.
• Communicate any food service or dining issues to F&B Managers promptly.
• Follow procedures for handling and storing food products safely.
• Assist in opening and closing duties for each shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in high-profile service operation in bartending.
• Knowledge of various types of wine, beer, mixed drinks, and proper service methods.
• Superior member service skills and ability to maintain poise under pressure.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in restaurant & bar or banquet service in a club or hotel setting.
• Knowledge of NorthStar point of sale system.
