About the position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is essential in providing an exceptional experience that keeps our patrons coming back.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Assist with banquet services or catering events as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or restaurant settings.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
• Strong sales skills to promote drink specials or upsell menu items effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Experience with retail math for managing inventory levels effectively.
