About the position

The Bartender position at Crowne Plaza Anchorage Midtown focuses on serving beverages and food to guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. The role involves preparing drinks for guests and other servers, acting as a cashier, and coordinating with various hotel departments for events and services.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and food accurately and consistently to guests.
• Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests.
• Act as cashier for the outlet and service staff as needed.
• Maintain existing business relationships and coordinate with hotel departments for events and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• State Alcohol Certification required or ability to obtain one.
• State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of various beverage types and preparation methods.
