Responsibilities
- Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest.
- Know the menu and be able to make genuine recommendations.
- Have a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Know basic cocktail recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
- Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise.
- Understand POS systems and OpenTable or other digital reservation systems.
- Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, company policies, and procedures.
- Be available to work weekends and some holidays.
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of high-volume recent bartending experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
