About the position

Responsibilities

• Set up bar using checklist provided and have it ready by 4:30 PM.
• Memorize all cocktails and pass the bar test.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Craft cocktails to run as specials.
• Possess extensive menu knowledge and pass the menu test.
• Take dirty glasses and plates back to the dish room.
• Handle guest requests efficiently.
• Keep the bar clean and presentable during service.
• Make drinks for the restaurant in a timely manner.
• Communicate 86'd items and update the board.
• Use the POS system accurately without mistakes.
• Run food properly and polish glassware as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of coolers and downsize containers when necessary.
• Close the bar using the provided checklist.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a bartender.
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
