About the position
The Bartender position at Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar in Eagan, MN, involves providing friendly and efficient service to guests while ensuring a memorable dining experience. The role requires a professional demeanor, adherence to company policies, and the ability to prepare and serve beverages in a timely manner. The bartender will interact with guests, manage orders, maintain cleanliness, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests according to company policies and performance standards.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Welcome guests immediately upon seating with a non-scripted greeting.
- Take drink and food orders, ensuring they are complete and prepared as ordered.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and common areas of the restaurant.
- Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times.
- Communicate with the Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies.
- Ensure 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
- Perform side work during shift downtime, including rolling silverware and washing dishes.
Requirements
- Basic bar knowledge and skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in-house training.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
