The Bartender position at Barrington Yacht Club involves a variety of responsibilities centered around providing excellent service to club members and guests. As a Bartender, you will be expected to follow all liquor policies set by the club and adhere to the Rhode Island Alcohol statutes. Your primary duties will include mixing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with the bar procedures established by the club. You will also assist in the setup and cleanup for events, ensuring that all food service and preparation areas are cleaned and sanitized to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. It is crucial to notify management of any concerns or issues that may arise relating to members or guests, ensuring that the clubhouse meets the cleanliness and safety standards set by management. This position is part-time and offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work around other commitments. You will report directly to the Beverage Manager, but you are encouraged to address any questions or concerns to the Assistant Manager or General Manager at any time. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of bartending experience, and candidates must be at least 18 years of age. The pay starts at $15 per hour, with the potential for tips and additional holiday bonuses.
