As a bartender at Six Flags, you will be responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for park guests while adhering to company, local, and federal guidelines. Your role will involve maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar area, including the bar unit, tables, and tools. You will assess guest demeanor and identify when to alert leadership or security regarding any concerning behavior. Additionally, you will be responsible for stocking supplies, transporting items to the bar setup area, and completing opening and closing duties. Creating a warm and fun atmosphere for guests is essential, as is following alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and manage intoxicated guests. You will also need to adhere to company policies and sanitation procedures, follow bar recipes to ensure product consistency, and verify the legal drinking age of guests through photo identification.
